Lateef is an an extremely gifted entertainer, who made his show business debut as a witty 12 year old on ITV’s famous morning gameshow “Mousetrap”. After that experience on the big screen he has never looked back.
Lateef also has tremendous comedic talent and is one of the most unique and distinctive acts on the comedy circuit, and vastly gaining the reputation of becoming a force to to reckoned with both on the Black, Mainstream, and International comedy circuits. Lateef played to sold out shows at the Oude Luxor Theatre in Rotterdam and the Tuschinski Theatre in Amsterdam when he toured Holland and has featured in many of the UK’s top comedy clubs and venues as well as debuting two successful solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival “The Anecdotes Of A Loveprince” and “Life, Times, And Societies Crimes” to rave reviews, and is set to debut his brand new show “Revelations” at the upcoming Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Lateef Lovejoy has made International Stand-up debuts in Belgium, Holland, Nigeria, Jersey, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Thailand, UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, Tanzania, and Kenya as well as taking New York by storm when he performed at the legendary Comic Strip, Times Square Comedy Club, and The Comedy Celler in New York and has also played the World Famous Comedy Store in LA in addition to the Improv and Laugh Factory comedy clubs, solidifiying him as versatile International headline act with his contemporary versatile satire and observational humour!
Lateef also played the character “Father Kissmass” for Kiss 100’s “All I Want For Kissmass” successful radio he was chosen to be the official face of the ITV Hub and the commercial mascot for major energy brand U Switch that was seen on TV and all major media platforms and amassed over 5 million views on YouTube.
In addition to acting and Stand-up Lateef is an in demand live host and is the official host of the iconic Afro Hair & Beauty show, as well as one of the hosts of the UK’s number 1 paint party brand “SipNStroke” The Screen Nation Awards, “Rotimo’s Shockolate Show” and has also been a guest host for the very popular International entertainment brand “Old School R&B Brunch” which has well over 400k followers on Instagram to name but a few.
